PLEASE CALL TO REGISTER!

This series of workshops is designed to help young artists explore the unique properties of acrylic paints. Each week we will look at the work of a well-known artist and discuss the ideas and techniques used. Following this the young artists will create their own pieces incorporating some of what was learned. As we go along, the elements of form (line, shape, colour and texture) will be introduced through directed exercises and through free expression. The students will be introduced to acrylic paint and mediums, composition, colour mixing, blending and brushstrokes, all while having a ton of creative fun!
