Welcome to the Holm Stretch for this first Friday in March! People think of many things when they think of March. Spring, melting snow, flowers, freshness, new starts...but did you know that....

March 8th is International Women's Day and this year focuses on the brave women who fought to win suffrage rights for women, and for the women who continue to fight for the voting rights of others. The colours of green, purple and white are meant to represent women's equality!

March is also a month of Fun Facts about names...but the official day was March 2nd! Since it is also the month of celebrating women, we have included a link to the top 100 girl names of 2020!

REMEMBER: SPRING AHEAD this Sunday, March 8, 2020! Daylight Saving Time is upon us! Ughhh....this is the hard one :( But it will be light out longer so that will be kind of nice :). Whose idea was this anyway? See our article on this teeter-totter tradition that happens twice a year....some interesting facts!
